Now that that’s out of the way: Next time your putting lotion on, take a moment and appreciate your body. Dont just slap it on, slowly rub it into your skin, thank yourself for taking the extra time to take care of your skin, thank each body part as you lotion it. You don’t have to like your body, but take a moment and appreciate all it does for you. Show it some love, even if you hate it. Thank your body for being the bridge between your consciousness and the physical world. Because of our silly little skin sack we get to experience the world. You may not like the way it looks, that’s alright, that’s for another time, but at least thank it for all it gives you.
